In 3 days, birds will sing, trees will bud, and I will sunbathe in a weathfield… Well, at least that’s how I feel about spring ^^
So, on my hook, there is…mushrooms… Yeah, because mushrooms grow in march, everybody knows that :p And there is more ! Poppies grow on mushrooms too !
Don’t you trust me? See for yourself !
Designer : Lalylala – Toadstool Paul
Price : 5.5$
You now all about Lalylala pattern, don’t you? Just like me, you’ve seen hundreds of them all around the internet. I always thought they were beautiful but I didn’t picture any of them in my house. Until that day when this little red hat guy looked at me with his moving eyes and pointed the watering can with which he would have loved to water my plants everyday…
So I decided to give it a try, and I don’t regret at all ! It is a very simple and effective pattern, perfect to relax at the end of the week !
Of course, I had to add a little something :p I tought it would be nice to have a reminder of the red on his body, and that’s how poppies grew on mushrooms :)
The poppies:
Little ones :
1) With black yarn, single crochet 6 in a magic ring and close the round with a slip stitch
2) With red yarn, chain 2 and double crochet 4 times in each stitch (24 altogether)
Big ones :
1) With black yarn, half double crochet 6 in a magic ring and close the round with a slip stitch
2) With red yarn, chain 3 and triple (or treble) crochet 4 times in each stitch (24 altogether)
Then sew them in the center only, so that the petals stay free
amazing!
Thank you !
