Last year it was Oogie Boogie, the year before that, it was Voodoo girl, this year, Sally Jack and Zero join them ! There can’t be a good Halloween without Tim Burton ! ^^
(Yes, there’s a bit of a scale problem here, but let’s pretend we didn’t see it, shall we? :p)
I made Sally with the free pattern of Patch Doll, by Irene Strange available here. Then I took the “real” Sally as a reference for the colors and details.
Her blue skin, the colors of her dress, the seams…
If I happen to make it again, I would change the pattern a little bit to make her head rounder.
The pattern is very well explained, but if you don’t like sewing little parts, it’s not for you ^^
And if you want Sally to stand up, you’ll have to add wire in her legs…
However, I kind of like the way this posture fits her everlasting gloom…
Jack and Zero as for them, are made with Nichole’s Nerdy Knots pattern, available here , that’s why the scale is off ^^
I didn’t take a lot of pictures of him, because he’s a last minute project… But when I saw Sally like that, I couldn’t leave her alone much longer !
Well, now I can’t wait to be in October 2016 to enlarge my collection :p
Note : if you read this before midday (CET), don’t forget to subscribe below to receive the Zombie heads lollipop pattern for free ! Otherwise, you can still find it in my Etsy shop !
You out-do your self every time. Great work. Alisa
Ow ! Thank you so much Alisa !!
Fantastic work and great fun. If I show my daughter she will go crazy choosing one.
Hey Linda, sorry I didn’t read your comment earlier ! Did you make them for your daughter yet?
Would love the patterns for zero and Jack! Can’t wait!
